Not finding what you’re after?
Lotus Acoustic Sliding Doors were developed in conjunction with architects to meet the needs of changing open-learning classroom designs and modern teaching pedagogies. They are easy to operate, meet rigorous DDA compliance requirements and are available with Lotus' SABS MOTION safe braking, patent pending technology. Available as either a Glazed or Solid finish in many configurations, including Single, Dual and Bi-Parting.
Whilst the education sector was the inspiration for the design of this product, Acoustic Sliders are ideal for any commercial environment, when the requirement to create differing spaces simply and quickly is paramount, and there is a moderate acoustic requirement. Acoustic sliders allow for visual connectivity of spaces and the transfer of natural light, making them the perfect product to create a dynamic environment that enhances student and employee wellbeing.

The key to acoustics is determining what your needs are. A sound rating should be chosen to suit the surrounding structure, the sizes of the partitioned areas and use of the space.
At Lotus, we conduct extensive research and testing of our full systems (not just our panels) to ensure that we manufacture walls that are BCA compliant and meet Australian Standard 1191-2002 for acoustical requirements.
See Product Brochure pages 6-7 for a detailed overview of acoustics.

There are several layouts or configurations for the Acoustic Slider System to ensure maximum flexibility of a room design. These layouts include single, dual or triple panel sliders that can be used in single or bi-parting layout combinations to provide for larger opening widths. NATA certified acoustic reports and opinions are available for all configurations.
Lotus offer two seal combinations that suit different site and acoustic requirements.
For a full overview of seal options, please download and refer to pages 10-13 of the Acoustic Sliders brochure.
Because of our board-within-frame construction type we can offer nearly limitless finish options to suit all functional, aesthetic and budget requirements. Most finish selections are supported by ‘concealed’ vertical joins between modules, giving the look of one continuous sliding panel. Some pinnable finishes require this junction to be ‘exposed’, with a visible aluminium lip.
Lotus can offer an almost endless selection of toughened and laminated glass options including coloured, mirror, acoustic laminated & printed glass. Please consult your technical design consultant for more information.
Lotus can provide both the Fixed Glazed Panel and Sliding Door seamlessly to provide a complete solution for the entire opening.
Within an educational building space, our Fixed Glazed Panels can be combined with a Sliding Door to form a functional divider between two spaces.
- Internal glazed units only
- Available in 10mm Toughened glass and 10.38 Laminated glass

A range of laminated glass options are available including frosted, mirrored, translucent, coloured, acoustic and decorative glass. These finishes boast the benefits of laminated A grade safety glass, offering illumination and maximising light transfer with additional features that provide privacy and visual embellishment where necessary. This product will suit a range of education and commercial spaces.
